Worth every penny!

To my extreme delight, last week we had our carpets professionally cleaned, our blinds/windows (inside & out) professionally cleaned, and a house cleaner come for 2 hours!!!! I realize this is not something we can afford to do every year, but we have been in this house for 3 1/2 years and had never cleaned our carpets or windows. What a difference it makes! I am almost blinded by the new amount of sunshine that comes through our windows and the carpet looks as good as new. =) ...Not to mention how great our house smells after all that attention! I even scooted around on my bum before the carpet guy cleaned and scrubbed the baseboards (although I still need to do the upstairs). I was fortunate enough to have my mother-in-laws peeps come and they were AMAZING! I love the process the carpet guy used, (he does not shampoo the carpets like most places) it is a more dry chemical-type process and he even rakes the carpet at the end. It only cost us $213.00 to get all our carpets cleaned, including the stairs and two 5X7 rugs. I couldn't believe how reasonable it was to do the blinds/windows...only $170.00 (that included an EXTREMELY filthy garage window covered in bugs and dust).
