Bear Lake...my new favorite place on earth!
We fell in love with this gorgeous place!
A quick trip down to the beach turned into a swim in his diaper...we should have known! =)
Andy and I had never been to Bear Lake before...and it won't be our last. Our sister-in-law's family owns this incredible "cabin"(which felt more like a beach house than anything), right off the shore. The lake was amazing, perfect really, with crystal clear blue warm water, sandy beaches, a beautiful view, uncrowded, and the water stays shallow for 50 feet or so. We had a blast making new friends, bonding with family, playing games (Balderdash was my personal favorite), eating yummy food (including salmon to die for, a picnic on the beach, and Andy's famous Korean Bulkogi), playing in the water and in the sand with Tate, going out on the wave runners, playing pool, staying up until 3AM to watch the U.S. win the Olympic gold in men's basketball, and just plain relaxing!!!
I even held a butterfly for the first time!
*A special thanks to Trina & Jeff and her parents for the AMAZING get away!
