Chocolate and Vanilla...a match made in heaven!

I really wanted our second child to be another boy, a little brother for Tate...that special bond and friendship that would bless him throughout his life. I love this picture of the two of them just chillin' on the couch, watching cartoons (and Tate holding his beloved Thomas train.) They are so content just being together! Little Levi's eyes brighten up when big brother is around and he is all smiles as Tate smothers him with kisses. When I ask Tate if he wants to hold Levi he says, "yeah, YEAH, YEAH" -all the while jumping up and down...you would think I was offering him chocolate he gets so excited! =) Tate always makes sure Levi is included. As we sang songs tonight before bed Tate held Levi's hands to help him to do Patty Cake and the Snowman song (two of his all-time favs). Tate also loves to help Levi fold his hands for prayer...already filling the big brother role and helping teach Levi the basics. One of my personal favorite acts of brotherhood is how much Tate loves to give Levi his Binky...whether he needs it or not. =) Nothing brings me greater joy than my boys and seeing that bond growing stronger each day...it is the MOST beautiful sight in my world!

These are absolutely beautiful! These two reminded me of Treyson and Mackai when Mackai was younger, now they play, laugh and fight together. But all the while you know they have that sweet little bond you are talking about. Also, I keep forgetting to comment on here when I try your recipes. I tried those oat pancakes and we all loved them! They will be a regular around here. Thanks for posting such yummy things!
